Kaula Tantra Yoga

I teach the Kaula Tantra Yoga series: a slow, flowing sequence of asanas. Phases of physical movement change with stillness. Each asana is held for a specific period of time so that we can find relaxation in the posture. More and more, our focus shifts to our breath, allowing us to dive ever deeper into our own body.

The intention of the practice is to strengthen trust in our body and intuition, and to let go of any preconceived images of a "perfect" posture: Only you know how exactly a position feels in your own body, and only you can find the expression of an asana that is truly right for this very moment.

The result is very individual. Personally, I feel deeply relaxed, calm, and rejuvenated after a session. Regular practice extends my capacity to hold power in my body, and to spread sexual energy from the pelvis to the entire body.

The full series takes about two and a half hours. However, I also offer shortened versions. The minimum time required for this practice is one hour and fifteen minutes. This style of yoga is suitable for all levels of yoga experience.

I have learned to teach this style of yoga at Durga’s Tiger School in Ecuador. You can find more information about Kaula Tantra Yoga on their website.

Teaching

Kaula Tantra Yoga is a core practice of our retreats (see events). I occasionally teach Kaula Tantra Yoga online and in-person in Yoga Teacher Trainings at Durga’s Tiger School in Tumbaco (near Quito), Ecuador, and in Europe. And If you are interested in a private class, or you want me to teach in your retreat, community, studio, event or workshop, or you want to co-create an experience for people to get into deeper touch with themselves, please reach out.
